The Palm is comprised of 12 gauge material, exceeding standard industry requirements. A 2" thick door, steel threshold, and bullet hinges with grease fittings that are welded to the frame are included. Pre-drilled holes and tabs have been welded to the jamb for straightforward setup. An energy-efficient outcome is guaranteed to our customers, as our dual-pane tempered glass is 5/8" thick and sealed along all perimeters, reducing heat loss and air leakage. Additionally, Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping is contained in each frame, diminishing the transfer of temperature between hot and cold. Moreover, a door sweep is included for the purpose of hindering infiltration of sound, light, drafts, insects, moisture, smoke, and fire, and is mounted to the base of the door for an effective seal.
